Bakersfield Republican Women, Federated is proud to be a vital and thriving unit of California Federation of Republican Women and an affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Women. CFRW being divided into three districts, BRWF is located in its Central Division. We hold the distinction of being the largest unit in our division and third largest in the state of California!

Established in 1963 by a dedicated group of local Republican women, our membership continues to climb, progressing well toward a goal of 350 for the year 2010. Diversity of age and profession are distinctive of this unit. Homemakers, college students, community volunteers, local elected officials, and women in every endeavor of business and chosen career join together upholding and working diligently to preserve the principles of the Republican Party. To this end, our utmost priority is educating our members and ourselves in order that we might be as effective and influential as possible whether in promoting legislation or electing Republican candidates. As we are all aware, it is of the utmost importance to elect and re-elect Repbulican candidates in November. In many people's minds, our nation's very existence as we know it depends on this fact. California will undoubtedly play an enormous role in accomplishing this feat. We sincerely hope that you will heed the call to join us as we strive together toward California and Congressional victories in 2010.

We meet the second Tuesday of each month. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. at the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield, 5060 California Avenue, 12th Floor, Bakersfield, CA. Lunch is served ($20) at 12 noon and we offer an informative speaker each month. You may call 661-477-7004 for reservations.
