Programs Nonie Darwish, a former Muslim woman from Egypt, will be speaking on her personal experience with radical Islamic people.She wants to alert people to her belief that the Islamic extremists really want to harm America and for us to be informed how things really are from her life own life experiences.
It will be on Thursday, August 21st, at the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield. It will be $30.00 for heavy hordeuvers and a no host bar. It will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservation phone number is (661) 327-4971.
We will get back to the general membership luncheons in September, starting September 9th at the Holiday Inn Select/Marriott. The cost is $15.00 for lunch. Doors open at 11:30. Program will start at 12 noon.
Michelle O'Conner, CFRW Legislative Analyst, will talk about the upcoming elections. We will , in addition, have a panel to discuss "how to effectively communicate your interest with your representatives."
