  Joseph P Day Central Valley

  Regional Vice Chair of the California Republican Party

  
  

  Joseph supports 11 county Central Committees from Sacramento to Bakersfield. for the California Republican Party.  He has been a  Delegate since 2005 and was named in 2019-2023 Chairman of the Stanislaus County Central Committee. And from 2005-2010 was the Chair of the Tuolumne County Central Committee.

  
  

  He has been twice elected Director of the Tuolumne Utilities District, serving 2007-2011 as board President in 2010.

  
  

  In 2000 he was a GOTV volunteer for George W Bush for President, San Francisco Central Committee. His Family moved to Mountain View in 1964 when the Santa Clara Valley was full of orchards and dairies, with technology booming. He was definitely a Goldwater Republican at age 5.

  
  

  After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biophysics from UC Berkeley in 1981 he worked as a Staff Research Associate at UC San Francisco and earned a PhD in Biophysics in 1993..  He did his post doctural work in New York City  from 1995-1998 and voted for Rudy Giuliani. He returned to the Bay Area in 2000,  and in 2003 he moved to Sonora and then settled in Modesto in 2010.
